Revelation 17 describes the apostate or false church as a prostitute.  She sleeps with the kings and makes the people of the earth drunk with the wine of her sexual immorality.  Based on this description answer the following . . .

1.  What do you believe is meant by the apostate church having sexual relations with the kings of the earth?  What are some ways we may be seeing this in our world today?

2.  What are some ways we see the apostate church making the people of the earth drunk with the wine of her fornication?  Share some specific examples.

3.  As followers of Jesus we are called to be peacemakers (Matt. 5:9).  At the same time, we are called on to “know the truth” (Jn. 8:32) and to “walk in the light as he is in the light in order that we might have fellowship with one another.” (I Jn. 1:7)  What are some of the challenges we face today as believers in the midst of a rapidly changing church culture?  Where do we “draw the line” in regard to unity and fellowship with other churches and members with different views from us?
