Ministries

Men’s Ministry

Men’s Ministry is the active pursuit of men in order to connect them to God, His Word, and other men for the purpose of winning, growing, and training God’s man in Christ.  We do this through monthly prayer breakfast’s, Sunday mornings men’s class, and Thursday evening men’s bible study.  The Men’s ministry is also here to serve the needs of the church and those who call upon us.  Men’s ministry will help to equip, empower and deploy men in Christian service to their family, church, community, and the world.  To get onto the Men’s Ministry distribution list, please email Michael Hagen (michael.hagen@live.com)

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry is open to all interested women.  Starting on August 12th, we will have two weekly women’s Bible studies that meet Thursday evenings at 7:30pm and Friday mornings at 9:30am for 2 hours (childcare available Fri AM).  We gather together on a monthly basis for fellowship and encouragement from God’s Word.  We also have a yearly retreat for women to be refreshed and renewed.  We are always looking for ladies who would like to be part of our leadership team.  See Sherri Armistead if you would like more information on how to get plugged in here at SIBC, or send us through an email to SIBC’s contact email address for more information.

Sunday School

The Sunday School Program is always in need of volunteer teachers and helpers. SIBC supplies all of the curriculum and materials needed. Volunteering is a great way to share the gospel and spread God’s love. Please see Pastor Dave before or after the Sunday 11am Service if you would like to know how to get plugged in.

20s/30s Singles & Couples (GenXY)

GenXY is for anyone in their 20s or 30s (or wanting to be in their 20s or 30s) wanting to learn more about God’s word and to meet more people in Seoul.  This group meets on a regular basis for fun, fellowship and learning and has just recently started a small group.  We have regular events and activities around Seoul to make the most of your time in Korea and have also parterned with Youngnak Church who also run a similar ministry and have a site full of more information: click here.
So get on our email mailing list so you can begin to get connected with the GenXY crew : GenXY.Seoul@gmail.com

Sexual Addiction Recovery

Sexual bondage and addiction is a growing problem both in and out of the church. It is devastating families and creating entire generations that don’t understand what a true, God-designed, intimate relationship looks like. SIBC is partnering with Pure Desire Ministries International to offer men and women struggling with sexual sin and bondage a way out of the noose of addiction and into healthy relationships with God, their loved ones, and themselves. We also offer a group, called the Betrayed Hearts Group, to help the wife that is struggling with her husband’s addiction.  These Pure Desire groups are led by people that have been in the exact same struggle and that God is in the process of rescuing out of addiction or out of the pain of betrayal.  For more information contact the following:
